Regions continue to outperform across Australia

Dwelling values across the combined regions jumped 23.9 per cent in the year to April 2022, according to data from ​​CoreLogic.

In comparison, Australia’s capital cities have only seen 14.6 per cent growth over the same period of time.

Sales activity in the regions is tracking about 20 per cent above the five-year average and showing the higher levels of demand.

The number of homes available for sale is more than 40 per cent below the five-year average and 20.5 per cent lower than a year ago.
