Dwelling values across the combined regions jumped 23.9 per cent in the year to April 2022, according to data from CoreLogic.
In comparison, Australia’s capital cities have only seen 14.6 per cent growth over the same period of time.
Sales activity in the regions is tracking about 20 per cent above the five-year average and showing the higher levels of demand.
The number of homes available for sale is more than 40 per cent below the five-year average and 20.5 per cent lower than a year ago.
