How to improve your credit score
August 15, 2022 jun Strategy Session

When applying for a home loan, one of the first things a lender will check is your credit score. A low score indicates that you might not have managed credit well in the past and a lender might be more reluctant to lend to you.

If you’ve had a few issues with credit in the past, you can potentially repair your credit score.

Here are some steps:

  1. Get a copy of your credit score
  2. Fix any errors
  3. Identify any money still owing
  4. Pay your bills as soon as you receive them
  5. Use your credit sparingly
