Australia leads the way with house price growth

In 2021, Australia has recorded the highest rate of real house price growth of any country in the world.

 

According to the latest Knight Frank Global House Price Index, Australia finished 2021 with house values increasing by 17.5 per cent in the past 12 months when adjusted for inflation

 

Australia came in ahead of Turkey at 17.3 per cent and the Czech Republic at 16.4 per cent.

 

In terms of countries that saw the sharpest increase in nominal house prices, Turkey topped all comers at ​​59.6 per cent.
